Nowadays there are only three bodegas like this in Spain: one in Jerez, other in Tomelloso and another one in Cariñena.
This bodega was built by a landowner's family in 1891. He wanted it to be round because it would be more useful. The architect was a Valencian disciple of Gustav Eiffel.
Nowadays it is owned by the Consejo Regulador D.O. Utiel-Requena.
In 1991, one hundred year after it was build, it was inaugurated as the Vineyard and Wine Museum "Bodega Redonda".
