Venta del Moro

Amidst uniquely linked with nature, the town of Venta del Moro is located in the westernmost part of the province of Valencia and has an area of 272 km2. The presence of Cabriel river conditions and determines the landscape of this county, with lush vegetation and steep slopes.

In the early seventies was a major discovery that has an embedded paleontological richness in mammals and plant fossils of the Miocene epoch Terminal - makes about 7 million years, which were found in lignite-fired clay and loam.

However, its natural wealth is the greatest exponent of this county, not only for its extraordinary scenic beauty, but by their ability to travel and learn about places and unspoiled landscapes.
