Camporrobles

Located in the northwest corner of the region and natural boundary with the province of Cuenca, Camporrobles is a must on the Wine Route of the Utiel-Requena, allowing the traveler to know about wine daily have been much improved and prestige.
Originally it was one of the world's leading centers of the Iberian region, its main attraction being precisely the Iberian site of the beater, situated atop a mountain of the same name just a few kilometers from town. This site has been put in value to make it a place of knowledge and interpretation of the remains of the Iberian and Islamic occupations, highlighting them the defensive system, which retains a large painting of the walls of the Iberian period, and a mosque Islamic period. Access to the Archeological Park takes place on foot along a path marked.
In the same hill, before reaching the park, is the Interpretation Center of the beater, the ideal complement to the visit to the park in addition to a playground and a fountain that springs from within the rock, which once was cave shrine of the deposit.
The town has some notable buildings as the Church of N ª Sra de la Asuncion, dating from the eighteenth century and the chapel of San Cristobal, and of particular interest as the Well of the council, the Tombola, the flour mill and Board Martinez de la Mata, which houses a collection with interesting archaeological museum, malacological and pictorial.
The most important festivals in this town are moving, procession and offerings to the Virgen de Tejeda in the third week of August, which coincides with the summer holidays. And among the highlights cultural leisure activities "Percufest", a prestigious International Percussion campus that offers the possibility to enjoy for over a week (early August) of the activities of large internationally recognized artists.
