Under a Historic-Artistic del Barrio de la Villa, and along the basement, there is a labyrinthine and interesting set of caves that have served several purposes during its history, including homes, shelters, ossuaries, silos and warehouses. These contain jars dating from the Middle Ages to show us the ancient vocation of Requena for the art of cultivating grapes and make wine.
